Explore four floors of exhibitions and activities centering on the environment and the diversity of life.
Stroll among dinosaurs and live butterflies, pet a live snake or hissing cockroach, and learn about the importance of water
in our lives. Founded in 1812, The Academy also houses 17 million specimens of plants and animals including the plants
from the Lewis and Clark expedition, Audubon's birds, and a rare book research library. Academy scientists work in the
Delaware and Chesapeake watersheds, as well as globally, to find new solutions for environmental problems.
